Victoria Secret Gel Bra

From Trendy Palermo Viejo to Nolita & Queens / In Trendy Palermo Viejo and Nolita Queens Restaurants

I Never Thought I Would Live in the U.S. someday. It wasn't my dream, it just Happened. However, I Always Thought It Would Be Great To Have my store in New York City and promote the works of so many talented Argentine artists, designers and craftsmen. It was like an impossible dream, something that I have always thought of, knowing that it would never occur…until two Saturdays ago.

As I mentioned in a previous post, my husband has been living here for many years and it simply happened. We got married and now I am living in the US. So, a couple of Saturdays ago, I had my first event at The Market NYC , a designers market in the heart of Nolita (North of Little Italy), next to Soho. I participated with a table and a few pieces of jewelry, from Palermo Viejo to Nolita.

It was an awesome experience. I was very excited. Now, more than ever, I can feel very proud of Argentine designers and their talent and creativity, since I felt everything fit perfectly. For a few moments, I thought I was in my store in BA, talking with customers from Spain, Belgium or Australia. Like in Palermo Viejo, there were local visitors and from abroad. Whenever I saw someone with the Lonely Planet in their hands, I wanted to shout: “Hey, LP recommends my products in Buenos Aires!” Then, I realized I was in another city.

But which was my favorite moment of the day? Well, of course when I started selling (that’s the purpose of participating in a market as a vendor), but what really made my day was meeting Paul and Luis, two new yorkers, readers of this blog, who came to the market to meet me. They showed me their real appreciation. Thank you, guys, for your warm compliments. It was wonderful talking with you. You really gave me the inspiration to continue blogging again so here I am. I’m so happy that I’m already planning my next post.

I’m also taking this opportunity to let you know that this Saturday I’ll be again at The Market NYC in Nolita from 11 AM to 7 PM and this Sunday, at the Astoria Market , (at the Main Hall of the famous Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden) , in Queens, from 12 to 5 PM.

Cheers!

never thought of living in the United States. It just happened. However, I always dreamed of how nice it would have a store in New York and promote the work of talented artists, designers and artisans from Argentina. It was like an impossible dream, or reality, a desire that he believed would not happen ever ... until a couple of Saturdays.

As I mentioned in the blog, my husband is from Argentina but has lived here for many years. We just got married and now here I am, living in the United States. So two weeks ago, I had my first events in a fair designers Nolita (neighborhood named for being north of Little Italy), New York. Participated with a table offering contemporary jewelry and jewelry, in Palermo Viejo to Nolita.

was a very nice experience. I was excited and eager to participate. Now more than ever, I am very proud of the creativity of Argentina. Everything fits perfectly. At times, I seemed to be in Buenos Aires, in my business, chatting with customers in Spain, Australia and Belgium. As in Palermo Viejo, visit the show New Yorkers and tourists. Whenever I saw someone with Lonely Planet in hand, had like shouting: "Hey, my LP recommends products in Buenos Aires." Then I remembered I was in another city.

But what was my favorite time of day? Of course when I started selling (at the end is the objective of participating in a fair as a vendor). But what really made me happy was to meet Paul and Louis, two Yorkers, blog readers, who came to the fair to meet me and give me a beautiful welcome. With their warm words inspired me to continue writing, so here I am! Thank you, guys! I'm so glad I'm already planning my next post.

take this opportunity to tell you that this weekend I'll be back at the fair in Nolita, on Saturday from 11 am to 19 pm. and Sunday at the Fair Market Astoria, Queens, 12 to 17 hours. (In the central hall of Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden.)
